Finlayson, Heather, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Heather Finlayson obtained a BSc in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo and her medical degree from McMaster University. She completed her residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UBC in 2006.
Dr. Finlayson is involved in postgraduate and undergraduate medical teaching. She is working towards her Masters in Medical Education through the University of Dundee, Scotland. Her research interests include interventions and rehabilitation outcomes for people with neuromusculoskeletal disorders.
She is a staff physician for the GF Strong Neuromusculoskeletal inpatient and outpatient programs and also has a private clinical practice including electrodiagnosis (EMG). She is the team physician for the Canadian national women's wheelchair basketball team.
